Last year by this time we had already been through a blizzard and more snow than was usual. On the night before Christmas eve it was raining and all I could think was"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING". Last year Christmas eve started with a little bit of snow and turned into a blizzard that kept me at the hospital. So when I got home this year on Christmas eve I truly felt like I had experienced a miracle. Our Christmas was really nice. Rhonda spent the night and she and Curt didn't get up till about 10. Beth and Phil had their own Christmas at home before they came to our house. We spent a leisurely time opening presents and really enjoying each other. Beth and Phil cooking up an Italian buffet and I had already baked the pies. We watched a couple of movies and called it a night about 9pm. Lily added so much to the experience. We bought her a radio flyer wagon and she had fun opening it with a little help from grampy. I was canceled the next day so I was able to go to church.
Tonight Ron is participating in the service with a 10 minute sermon. Four men are each speaking for 10 mins. On a different aspect or role of Jesus. He will be last to preach on the topic Jesus our Savior. I am so glad that I can call him my savior and that I know him intimately . I love you all. I am so glad we now have a place to communicate :)
So glad Christmas was great. I really need to get used to doing this "blogging" thing. I've been on 3 times, written 3 things to you, Nicci and Cindy and nothing has worked. Hopefully this time it will!!! I would much rather talk, but here goes nothing. Missing you and wishing I was there.
ReplyDeleteBonny- Yay! Your post is here.
ReplyDeleteTrudy, I can hear you say, "You've got to be kidding". Made me smile this morning. XO Cindy
