My weekly challenge

I was challenged by Bonny's 3 miles in 28 mins. At this point I know I can't run at an increased tempo for more than 2 miles. So I was able to do 2 miles in 26 min.30secs. I walked for only 1.5 mins. I feel satisfied with this for now. The furthest I have run/walked is 3.77 miles in 62 mins. Can you tell I track every run.....walk:)

On another note- @ Candy and Cindy- Did you see Rhondas pic on FB. She got in excess of 20 comments from teens to 80 year olds haha. @ Nicci and Bonny- the pic was of Rhonda with her lips swelled up big from an allergic reaction. Funny and not all at once. The pic was after a trip to the ER. We still don't know what she is allergic to.
Love "y'all"

  1. I did 2.8 miles in 39 min last night. I did not stop running. That's my goal this week. Do the miles without stopping. Speed is another whole level of challenge. I've never been fast, but I always finish.

I can't log on to facebook here at work, but I will at home. Poor Rhonda. Is she ok yet?

    Love you all yoo!

  2. Rhonda had a systemic allergic reaction to something starting Sat. Morning. She had a hivey rash and swelling in her hands legs feet booty and lips. By Sun. Night is was really swelling her face up so she went to the ER and they gave her some steroids and a script for a week of steroids. She immediately started to get better but started to get a rash again last night. Our first thought was amoxicillin. But not now. It might be dairy. Benadryl and ibuprofen was not sufficient. She would appreciate your prayers.

  3. We'll pray. Sarah had the same thing but not as severe a couple of months ago...girl troubles over some "stupid" boy Sarah didn't even get involved in. It was her first girl/boy thing ever. In the middle of it she got hives and a severe rash like excema. She went on steroids, we prayed about her stress level and she finally has no rash. The only side effect was she missed her period that next month. She's ok, I pray Rhonda will be too!!!
