10 big ones

Today was my day to do 10 miles. I bought a new pair of running shoes and wore them for two long days at work so I felt pretty confident that they would be ok today but my Rt foot started to hurt at 3 miles. So I slapped on another bandaid and loosened the shoe strings and everything went well from then on. It was in the mid 80's I think and really windy at times. I clocked in at 2hrs 40 mins. Then I went in, ate one piece of pizza and went to church. Needless to say I was inwardly groaning the whole service. So it's bedtime for me. Btw.... I bought plenty of ibuprofen and Tylenol :)

  2. I cannot seem to fix this post as Jere so just accept it as Candy.

Went to cardiologist yesterday and had some good and some bad news. I wore a 24 holter moniter a few months ago to monitor my heart and they said that my PVC's are gone!! Thank you Jesus but....I have a new problem. I had a 7 1/2 hour fillrilation (unsure of proper spelling yet) in my upper chamber of my heart. I am continuing on medicine and have to add a daily asprin. Next monday I go for a Echo of my heart and then they put on a report generator which will monitor my heart for 30 days. This is to determine if I continue to have afib and if my symptoms connect to my heart. I.E. fatigue or dizziness, etc. That is the most recent update. Pyschologically I am not good today....feel down and teary. I know that I need to just take it one day at a time.

  4. Trudy, just know I'm proud that you, on "old fart" could actually accomplish something you set your mind to?) No really, I am proud, know you can finish what you start, that finish is coming very soon. Sarah reminded me last week I leave in 13 days. She's not happy she's not going. Next time I told her - not next race mind you, just next visit.
