This is an invitation to all four of you to join me on May 1st to run a half marathon. May first is the Memorial Marathon held each year as a way to remember those that lost their lives on April 19,1995 in the bombing. I am not sure if I can run the whole thing but I am sure with even moderate training I could cover the distance run/walking it.
I have a family room and a spare bedroom so there's plenty of room. At the very least we could do a relay team and cover the marathon route with 4 runners. Curt said he would be willing to do that. I am doing the half which is 13.1 miles no matter. So tell me what you think.

We have our anual ladies retreat that weekend, but I just sent a text to ask about the schedule of events on May 1st. (I'm the worship leader for the event, or I'd just prioritize away the retreat. Sisters first!)
ReplyDeleteI can do this is finances allow - that's always my biggest challenge. I have Ladies Conference the next weekend so I'm free for the 1st. I'd need to head home the next day. This would be so cool if everyone got involved!

Funny about running Abby just came home with a school program to run a 5K and we were saying how I should get involved. Hmmmm do they really want to see 5 Williams jiggle butts?? lol I guess if I ran...it would not jiggle anymore. I will look and see what is on the schedule for May 1st.
