Bethany just called me with some exciting news. She and Phillip have been attending the UPC church in Del City for about 7 months. So of course their pastor Bro. Paul Sharp has been feeling them out to see what they are like etc. I guess he has been impressed with what he saw cause he asked them to be their youth pastors. Beth said it is so well organized with a 5 person youth committee . They have a separate building for the youth and I think a gym. Wow!
On another note there was just a "marathon minute " on Ron's sports show that mentioned that there are expected to be 25,000 participants in this years Memorial Marathon!!! Yay!
I'm so excited for Bethany & Phillip, and proud of them too. I've been working with the teens here for over 5 years, and I really love it. I'd love to know more about the youth committee.
